Fostering in a Digital World Safeguarding App- a go-to-guide that fits in the pocket, and  has enabled foster carers to become more comfortable and familiar with technology therefore helping carers safeguard the young people by having a better understanding of the digital world in which they live.  The link will give you guidance for downloading and utilising the App.

ChildLine’s Zipit app for young people. The app has handy tips to help young people if they are feeling uncomfortable when someone’s trying to get them to send naked images.  Zipit helps young people take control of the situation with killer comebacks to flirty chat. NISCC Understanding Child Development for Children aged 0-6  - This is a free resource for social workers, early year’s workers and parents. It is designed to ensure that social workers, those who work in early years and other professionals in child care have instant access to high quality information on child developmental norms relevant to the 0-6 year’s age group.
